Illustration Friday - Tea

I thought I would experiment with tea staining. I started with 4 different teas and made a concentrated brew.


So then I did an old english tile design and painted it with the tea stains. The green tea was most disappointing as it produced just a hint of pigment. Maybe next week the topic will be beets and I can REALLY go to town.
